There are 2 parts of me:
Attention seeker and a modest man.
Try to suppress the first, But I never can.
Try to suppress the verse, but that’s just who I am.
Attention seeker fights the other side.
The side that is meeker wants to be understated
And under the radar.
When the sun doth shine
I have a true desire to write lines,
Release my mind and just see what it finds.
Look at me, look at me,
You will see difficulty.
It’s poisoned, tainted, got an infection.
My own complexities that I’m detecting
Are perplexing, vexing me.
And for me there is no resting because I’m wicked.
I am sickened by my own condition.

Fool, I’m such a fool.
Why did I dive in so soon.
A fool for you,
And the things you do.
Why did I get lost in you?
Your eyes, a tranquil pool,
But danger lies in that deep blue
Why did I trust in you?
What we had was not true.
Your waves came crashing down
And made my soul drown.
I know we had sunshine but I’m focused on the rain,
That’s washed our connection back down the drain, the plug hole.
Fuck soul;
I’m feeling angry,
Cos You didn’t understand me,
And you thought you had a licence to treat me like a toy.
I thought that I could bring you joy but I was just for show.
I was kept in the dark not in the know.
I see now I was O so foolish,
To try and fight through this.
